It’s a Shirty Dame (or Dirty Shame If You Don’t Know Spooner)

We don’t belong to any political parties; we’re not members of any professional organizations. We simply want to point out some things that make us go, “No, they didn’t.” Having launched our first Weblog or blog one year earlier, we decided the time was right to take our little show to Washington. After all, we live in the real world. And so Shirty Dame went on-line on November 5, 2003.

Nothing but Opinions

We pledge to tackle all the hot-button issues—provided we have something to contribute to the public debate. Unlike the folks who write a daily column, we won’t dwell on minutiae (we do admire the columnists who work in the style of the late Herb Caen).
